We’re in the midst of a full-blown Dunk revival, and as if more evidence was needed — here it is. After first appearing in the JACKBOYS music video, then selling out quickly via the Houston artist’s website, the highly anticipated Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low is finally getting its release through limited retailers on February 29. However, streetwear and sneaker marketplace StockX has you covered when it comes to securing a pair early.
Stamped with Cactus Jack branding at the tongue, the sneaker comes with detachable paisley and plaid overlays, with the Swoosh appearing in both black and pink shades. In a similar aesthetic to the “Cactus Jack” Air Force 1 that was released at the end of 2019, this sneaker brings a mash-up of materials to its make-up, combining rope laces with the aforementioned paisley and plaid.
A self-proclaimed fan of the Nike SB Dunk, this is the first time Travis has put his spin on the silhouette. It follows a host of collab efforts with Nike, including ultra-coveted pieces like the Travis Scott x Nike Air Jordan 6, which was one of 2019’s hottest releases.
StockX market data suggests this sneaker could be equally as grailed, with it currently attracting an average sale price of more than $1,000 and reaching a 52-week high of almost $1,400.
